Zakir Musa, Kashmir’s most wanted terrorist killed in an encounter

Burhan Wani’s successor Zakir Rashid Bhat, popularly known as Zakir Musa was recently killed in an encounter. Joint forces, who were working on special intelligence, trapped him in the Tral region of South Kashmir. A gunfight broke between the forces and the militants at Dadsara village. Security forces blasted a chemist’s house where Musa was hiding. The forces sent the owner of the house for negotiation asking Musa to surrender, but he declined. The forces tried to persuade him to surrender however he fired UBGL grenades which led to the encounter.
