Zak Crawley ruled OUT of England’s first two Tests against India with a jarred wrist after slipping over outside the changing rooms in Chennai

England have received a major blow on the eve of the first Test against India with batsman Zak Crawley ruled out of the first two matches with a jarred wrist.

The Kent batsman sustained the injury after slipping outside the dressing rooms of the Chepauk Stadium in Chennai and later had a scan for a possible broken right wrist after missing Tuesday’s training session.

While the diagnosis isn’t as bad as first feared, it is enough to rule him out of the first two Tests.
