Liverpool supporters around the world were celebrating long into the night after seeing their side win a first league title in 30 years.
But there were concerns for the welfare of one fan after they fell off the top of a ladder celebrating the title triumph.
A short video was posted on social media showing the supporter, wearing a mankini, climbing to the top of a ladder resting far from secure on a lamp-post while trying to plant a Liverpool flag.

As gatherings of people below him were chanting the famous Queen song ‘we are the champions’ as part of the celebrations, the supporter then put their arms out as a way of joining in with the party atmosphere.
However, they lost their balance on the ladder after the top of the post became unattached.
This led to them falling to the ground to shocked screams before the video cuts out.

Climbing up lamp posts has become a popular custom in the United States following the success of sports teams.
The state of Philadelphia had to grease posts to stop supporters from climbing them after their NFL Eagles team won the NFC championship in 2018
Liverpool secured the Premier League title on Thursday night after Manchester City lost 2-1 at Chelsea which saw Pep Guardiola’s side trail the Reds by 23 points with just seven games to play.
With the Reds now English, European and world champions Reds supporters came out in their droves to mark the championship success. It is their 19th in total but the first in the Premier League era.
Liverpool supporters gathered outside of Anfield to celebrate their team’s title triumph
Liverpool may have dominated the campaign to the extent that their coronation as champions was inevitable but that didn’t stop supporters’ celebrations exploding into a party atmosphere outside Anfield.
To the backdrop of tooting car horns, fireworks red flares, thousands of supporters descended to Liverpool’s stadium, climbing on top of the Paisley gates and waving flags to mark the occasion.
Merchandise sellers were also present, with items including simple red t-shirts, emblazoned with images of Klopp and the number 19, for £10.
