Sam Allarydce is set to sign a six-month contract at West Brom with Slaven Bilic to be sacked
Allardyce is likely to be handed a six-month contract, until the end of the current season.
Bilic has yet to be told that he has been sacked and has been planning on taking training on Wednesday but a decision was made on his future after the weekend defeat by Newcastle – and before last night’s plucky draw with Manchester City.
Sportsmail revealed Bilic was holding talks with club bosses over his future as early as October 30.
Allardyce will be tasked with keeping the newly-promoted Baggies in the Premier League.
The draw at the Etihad took them to seven points from 13 games since they came up from the Championship. They are currently two points off safety.
More to follow.
