mauritians go by bus!
when mauritians go to the beach on sundays or on a public holiday they don’t do things halfway.
to make sure that the whole family and all the stuff they need for a day on the beach has place they travel by bus. and they are really nice to look at.
the regular bus system is also a good alternative for tourists if you don’t have a car. going by bus is cheap and you can go nearly everywhere around the island. BUT you have to love speed and you mustn’t be afraid of a wild way of driving.
