Manchester United goalkeeper Joel Pereira is discussing a loan to Huddersfield Town with his first-team prospects dwindling after Dean Henderson’s return to Old Trafford.
Pereira, now 24, spent last season on loan at Hearts in the Scottish Premier League and is facing another move away from Manchester in pursuit of first-team football.
And Championship side Huddersfield could make a swoop.

The Terriers are preparing for their first season under Carlos Corberan – a former coach in Marcelo Bielsa’s setup at Leeds – after controversially sacking Danny Cowley near the end of the 2020-21 season.
United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen for Pereira to get more first-team action under his belt.
At United, meanwhile, Solskjaer has a big decision to make over who will be his No 1 stopper for the upcoming campaign.
David De Gea endured an inconsistent season and is under pressure from Henderson, who flourished on loan at Sheffield United in his first taste of Premier League football.
