Hey everyone! You might have heard it already but I wanted to let you know that I am running for the village council elections for Rose Belle. I have decided to run as an independent candidate because I have not found the right group that share the same principles, values, and vision as I do for now. Running as an independent for election is risky and perhaps might not get me to win but I sure hope that despite this, you shall support my decision and (or ask your family and friends) to vote for my vision and my commitment to the village of Rose Belle, instead of my affiliation or lack thereof.

I have decided to pick a bridge as my symbol because I believe that it best represents for what I stand for. Voting for me is voting for yourself because I want to be able to bridge the gap between your needs and the resources we have to help you. I am here to represent young people and woman and I am here to work everyone else.

Someone who look like me has minimal chances to enter this highly competitive and male dominated arena but I hope that you can see that women, like me, has so much to offer and is not afraid of the challenge to serve her people. I want to make sure you all feel heard and understood and that your needs are being voiced out.

If you think that this is a chance you are willing to give, please go out and ask your friends and family to vote on November 22, 2020 for me, Deepshikha Parmessur so we can walk across the bridge to work together with the people of Rose Belle for a fairer and safe village.
