F1 LIVE – Sakhir Grand Prix: Latest updates from Bahrain

Valtteri Bottas will hope to claim his third win of the Formula One season as he starts from pole position in the Sakhir Grand Prix.

Plenty of eyes will be on George Russell in the Mercedes, who is replacing seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton after he contracted coronavirus earlier in the week. Russell starts second behind Bottas in a Silver Arrows first row lockout after an enthralling qualifying session on Saturday.

There are also debutants further back on the grid, with Jack Aitken stepping in at Williams for Russell and Pietro Fittipaldi taking Romain Grosjean’s seat at Haas following his fiery crash last weekend that he miraculously escaped from.
