Contribution of Rs 1M from C-Care and Grays (Doritos)

In a statement, the Minister expressed his gratitude to C-Care and Grays (Doritos), and all other contributing sponsors, with regard to their enthusiasm and commitment to assist government in hosting the IOIG 2019.  He observed that the maximum support and assistance from stakeholders and sponsors are needed to celebrate this key regional event in the best conditions.

The Minister urged the population to rally and support the Mauritian team throughout the games and to participate fully to the activities. He recalled that the organisation of the Games is well on track and is almost completed, adding that the most important infrastructural project, that is, the Multi-Sports Complex Project at Côte D’Or, is being inaugurated this afternoon.

Mr Toussaint also pointed out that the live transmission of the competitions will be projected on some 14 large open-air screens to be set up across the island, to enable the whole population to watch the matches.
