Liverpool’s Champions League clash with RB Leipzig ‘will NOT be allowed to take place in Germany’ due to coronavirus crackdown – meaning the last-16 tie may now be held in England

Liverpool‘s Champions League plans has been thrown into disarray after it was confirmed the team will not be allowed to travel to Germany to take on RB Leipzig, according to reports.

The last-16 tie will now have to be held in a neutral location after travel into Germany from countries affected by coronavirus mutations was banned by the government.

Sportsmail has recently reported that contingency plans are already underway to hold both legs in England.
