Environ 102,700 élèves et 9300 enseignants ont repris le chemin des établissements secondaires aujourd’hui 16 août. C’est la troisième partie du troisième trimestre, sous l’année académique continuelle 2021-2022, en raison de la pandémie de la Covid-19. Ce trimestre prendra fin le 04 novembre de cette année.
Il reste, néanmoins, six semaines aux élèves pour entamer la dernière ligne droite pour les examens du SC/CGE O-Level et du HSC/GCE A Level. Cette fois, ils sont approximativement 15,000 et 7600 étudiants à passer ces épreuves.
A savoir que les examens du National Certificate of Education (NCE), pour la Grade 9 débuteront avec le français et le Business and Entrepreneurship Education comme matières le 06 octobre. Ils s’achèveront le 19 du même mois par les mathématiques, les langues orientales et le Kreol Morisien.
Les examens pour le O-Level , de même que le A-Level, démarrent le 21 septembre avec l’anglais 1126 Syllabus B et le Télugu ,selon le calendrier provisoire distribué aux écoles et aux étudiants. Les épreuves du O-Level se termineront le 14 novembre avec les sujets commerce et économie. Les épreuves de la HSC prendront fin le 17 novembre avec les questions à choix multiple pour les sujets économie et science physique.
Il est à noter qu’ils sont environ 300 étudiants à attendre les résultats du O-Level de mai/juin 2022 ce jeudi 18 août.
