Agreement signed with new Silver Sponsor

To that effect, an agreement was signed, yesterday, at the seat of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Port Louis in presence of the Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr Stephan Toussaint. Signatories were the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the 2019 IOIG’s organising committee, Mr Jean-Pierre Sauzier, and the CEO of Leal and Co. Ltd, Mr Eric Leal.

Minister Toussaint expressed gratitude to the new Silver Sponsor for its engagement in the IOIG 2019 which demonstrates the commitment and patriotism of the company towards the country. With the internet and social media, the IOIG 2019 will take another dimension and will also provide international exposure to sponsors, he added.

For his part, Mr Sauzier said that he appreciated the patriotic gesture of Leal and Co. Ltd for extending its collaboration to the Organising Committee in this sporting endeavour. The private sector, he added, has an important role as contributory partners for the Games.

Mr Leal, for his part, said that the contribution of the organisation to the hosting of the IOIG 2019 is a testimony of its strong sense of patriotism and unflinching support to the Games. For him, the provision of these 40 high-end cars will provide a quality service to the Games.
