Ollie Lawrence and Jack Willis in line to start against Scotland as head coach Eddie Jones finalises his starting XV for Six Nations clash at Twickenham
Ollie Lawrence is pushing to make his first Six Nations start in the clash with Scotland.
Eddie Jones will finalise his starting XV on Thursday morning, but Sportsmail understands that Jones was considering a 10-12-13 combination of Owen Farrell, Henry Slade and Lawrence.
If Lawrence, 21, is selected ahead of George Ford, the powerhouse youngster could go head-to-head with his former England Under 20 team-mate Cameron Redpath.

Having featured in Jones’s training squads, Redpath recently pledged his allegiance to Scotland and is understood to be preparing for a debut at Twickenham.
Jones is unlikely to make radical changes, although Jack Willis is pushing to make his first tournament start in the No 7 jersey.
England are battling injuries and suspensions in the front row, with Mako Vunipola, Joe Marler and Kyle Sinckler all unavailable. Props Ellis Genge and Will Stuart are the favourites to fill in.

Lions coach Warren Gatland will be at Twickenham on Saturday and winger Jonny May is desperate to impress.
‘It is human nature to want things,’ said May.
‘Who wouldn’t want to go on a Lions tour? But at what point do these thoughts become distractions? It can lead to disappointment.
‘I need to play hard and do my job.’
