Chaitanya Tamhane’s Court has been selected as India’s Oscars official entry for this year’s Academy Awards in the Best Foreign Language Film category and the entire Bollywood seems proud.
The film was the best picture winner at this year’s National Film Awards and garnered unanimous praise from the critics.
Director Hansal Mehta tweeted, “So pleased to know that the FFI committee has made its choice for India’s entry to Oscars. And for once they’ve chosen well! #Court.”
