‘Our strength is our people’: PM lauds resilience and discipline of Mauritians in New Year’s message
In his New Year’s message to the nation, tonight, the Prime Minister, Mr Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, lauded the resilience and discipline of Mauritians in 2020, saying that he is convinced that the country will overcome this difficult phase after a year blighted by the COVID-19 pandemic and the MV Wakashio oil spill. Our strength, he added, has always been our people and together we have found the grit and the forbearance to face the challenges of 2020.
