Ian Valentine joined Huawei in 2014, and worked as a business and technology consultant for Huawei across the globe. Seeing huge potential in Africa, in late 2018 he first came to Mauritius, and decided to settle here to focus on the southern Africa region.

He says he loves his job for two main reasons, firstly it lets him spread his decades of experience across multiple problem areas and customers, and secondly he really enjoys helping others. He often boasts that his job is “not sales, but helping our customer’s businesses be more successful”…
