7.06 p.m. @ Bagatelle parking: I tried to start my car, then realised that the battery was dying. I quickly regrouped and made a mental list of the options open to me:
1. Buy a battery
and leave in car, issue being where to get the battery at that time. The 24/7 Engen at Bagatelle?2. Lock car, inform Bagatelle security and grab a taxi back home
3. Call car insurance agent and suffer silently until they remedy to my predicament.
4. Call the one and only Satish of Garage Satish at Piton for a solution
5 to 8. Other options
I opted for the most convenient option, a taxi ride back home, walked over to a taximan who said Bagatelle-Goodlands would cost me MUR 1200. I… More
