Reece James shown RED CARD after the full-time whistle on his first England start to cap off dismal evening for Gareth Southgate’s side against Denmark at Wembley

Reece James was shown a red card by the referee after the full-time whistle for dissent on a tough evening for England against Denmark.

Chelsea right back James was making his first start for his country and was one of Gareth Southgate‘s finest performers, in a 1-0 defeat against the Danes at Wembley.

But after a game where England didn’t get the rub of the green, Spanish referee Jesus Gil Manzano displayed a red card – after earlier sending off Harry Maguire in the first-half – to James after the 20-year-old confronted the official following the end of the game.
