Public Health: Induction training for 220 pre-registered House Officers
An induction training for 220 newly pre-registered House Officers was launched yesterday at the Core Building, in Ebène. The training which will run over a period of 18 months is being offered by the Ministry of Health and Wellness in collaboration with the Mauritius Institute of Health.
The aim is to help prepare the newly pre-registered House Officers in becoming medical practitioners in the public service. The training will cover the principles of good clinical care in the health system and will provide participants with an insight of the panoply of health services available to the population.
