Gunners manager Mikel Arteta has reportedly put the defender on the transfer list this summer
Now the Daily Star have reported that Gunners manager Mikel Arteta has put the 24-year-old on the transfer list as he is deemed surplus to requirements.
With Arsenal open to offers, it is reported that this could give Leeds a real extra incentive to push for his signature.
Holding has picked up some solid experience with the Gunners, making 78 appearances for the club in all competitions since first breaking into the senior team against Liverpool in August 2016.
However his chances have become far less frequent and he only made eight appearances during the 2019-20 Premier League season.
Mikel Arteta has reportedly put a total of 15 players up for sale during this summer’s transfer window.
Across the back line there looks to be some change with Sokratis also believed to be put up for transfer.

Arsenal’s boss will look forward to having William Saliba with his squad following his season-long loan at Saint-Etienne last season.
The Gunners are also preparing to sign Gabriel Magalhaes from Lille for a fee of £27m.
The 22-year-old Brazilian is reportedly expected to sign a five-year deal with the club in the next week.
