Ronnie O’Sullivan has clinched an elusive sixth World Championship title after defeating Kyren Wilson 18-8 at the Crucible.
The 44-year-old, on the hunt for his first success at the tournament since 2013, opened up a sizeable advantage on Sunday despite both players having suffered from a bruising opening day.
And after romping to a 7-1 session victory at the end of session three, O’Sullivan held his nerve to emerge victorious and thrill once again in front of the small crowd.
