F1 returns to Portugal for first time since 1996 as Grands Prix in Portimao – plus Germany and Italy – are added to 2020 calendar to take total number of races to 13… but Brazil, USA, Canada and Mexico are all OFF due to Covid-19
Formula One have confirmed three more races for the 2020 calendar as the sport returns to Portugal for the first time since 1996.
Portimao – as well as the Nurburgring in Germany and Imola in Italy – will hold races in 2020 as the number of confirmed races this season rose to 13.
It was also revealed that races in the USA, Mexico, Brazil and Canada have all been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
