Indian politician Mayawati spends Rs 52 Crores in building her own statues

One of the Indian politicians, Mayawati who is the Chief of Bahujan Samaj Party has spent a whopping amount of Rs 52 crores on her own statues and an Elephant statue which is primarily her election symbol. The statues of Mayawati and Elephants have been installed at various public places in Uttar Pradesh.
