****Update on Ile Aux Benitiers Dogs****
Since the lock down, we have been doing our weekly trips to feed the dogs at ile aux Benitiers. There are 6 of them, all seem healthy, happy to live on this beautiful little island and they have shelter from the elements. Thank goodness, another kind local is going weekly also. Thank you Victor!!!
We have tried to catch them to take them to the mainland to get sterilised, but they are still a little weary of us… hopefully soon we will get lucky.
If there is any chance you can help with a donation towards the cause, we would be very grateful.
👉Food / dry kibble big bag costs us Rs1000
👉Boat ride there and back costs us Rs2000
👉Thats Rs3000 a week which is what we would spend feeding and caring for 3 dogs A MONTH! It's a very expensive mission, but we cannot just leave these dogs there to starve.
