Today, February 1, we remember all our great-grand parents who came as slaves from #Africa mostly. In 1835, slavery was abolished. Yet, modern forms of bonded labour, slavery, combined with sex and human trafficking continue till today. Our history is sadly and partly based on the hardships and inhumane ways imposed on some of our ancestors. You and me, and all of us at #EnForceMaurice! let’s work together to fight these new forms of exploitation of the human body and spirit and help build our Mauritian dream – one where freedom, liberty, justice, peace and unity permeate forever.
